Adult Craft: Paper Flower Bouquet

Thursday, Feb. 19 4:30-5:30pm

Join us at the Kansas Public Library for another adult craft led by Amy! Valentine's Day may be over, but we all deserve year-round flowers that will never die. Enjoy multiple techniques when making paper flowers, then join your works together to make a dream bouquet. We can't wait to see your creations! Note: This program is intended for adults. Registration Required.

Passport to Snacks - Kids and Teens

Tuesday, Feb. 24th 4-5pm

Travel to China without leaving the library! Participants will explore Chinese snacks and teas, the Lunar New Year, and the Chinese zodiac through tasting and creative, cultural activities. Ages 6-14.

Kansas Library Early Literacy Storytime First Fridays at 10:30 am

Storytime makes learning fun! Early Literacy Storytime helps young children build important early skills through books, rhymes, music, and engaging activities. Join us every last Friday for a special storytime designed for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers.

Reading Challenges

This January and February, we are partnering with Steps to Literacy for our winter reading challenge, which features Beanstack's very own mascot, Benny the Bean! Earn fun, Benny-themed badges for logging your reading and completing activities.

As you earn badges, you'll earn tickets that you can use to enter to win one of two prize packs!

This year introduced a new reading challenge that celebrates your freedom to read your way. Whether you turn pages, swipe a screen, or listen on the go, it’s all about enjoying books on your own terms. Join the Read It Your Way year-long challenge and make this your year of reading—your way.
